Pollywood highlights of the week
A lot of action happened on the Pollywood front this week. Right from new song releases, to legal actions being taken against some famous faces, there are a number of things that happened that raised eyebrows. ‘All Baab’ made it to the music charts
The title track of Amrit Maan’s album ‘All Bamb’ made it to the music charts this week. Featuring the songster and Pollywood queen Neeru Bajwa, the song is a proper groovy number. Made with fun lyrics, strong vocals, and upbeat music, the song did justice to the title. Further, it was one of the much-awaited songs of the year, as people could not wait to see the pairing of Neeru and Amrit after ‘Aate Di Chidi’.

Punjabi singer Khan Saab’s arrest
The video of singer Imran Khan popularly known as Khan Saab celebrating his birthday went viral on social media. The video showed how the birthday bash went awry with a large number of fans and friends, live band performance, and no regard to social distance. Thus, post the circulation of the video, Khan Saab along with three others was reportedly arrested for violating Covid protocols. Reports suggest as of now the singer is out on bail.

Jazzy B’s Twitter account withheld
Punjabi singer Jazzy B’s Twitter account has been withheld as a result of legal action. Reports suggest that according to information on the Lumen database, a legal request was sent from the Indian government on June 6 to twitter for four accounts, including that of Jazzy B. Thus, those who look for Jazzy B's Twitter account are shown a message that reads "account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand".

Announcement of ‘Parahuna 2’
One of the biggest highlights of this week is the announcement of the movie ‘Parahuna 2’. Starring Ranjit Bawa and Aditi Sharma, it is a sequel to the 2018 released ‘Parahuna’, in which Kulwinder Billa and Wamiqa Gabbi played the lead. The movie will be an addition to the list of Punjabi comedies. Further, directed by Ksshitij Choudhary, the movie will be hitting the big screens in 2022.
