From farming to spreading positivity on social media; here’s how Mohanlal spent his time during the lockdown

The past six months have been quite a unique experience for people around the world. Everyone has been confined to their houses for such a long period. While most of them were wondering how to pass time, a few decided to spend it wisely. Mollywood superstar Mohanlal was one of them. Although he wasn’t able to catch up things at his usual warp speed, the actor has spent it productively. From trying hands at farming to enjoying little things, here’s take a look at how Mohanlal has spent his time during the pandemic.

Finding happiness in little things!

Most of us were on a rat race until the pandemic broke out and we hardly had time to enjoy the little things in life. Mohanlal, who is usually a busy bee, taking projects after projects, also got some time to relax. Instead of forcing himself to do something productive every day, the actor decided to take it slow. He was spending most of his time with family and during those days, he also got to spend time with his ‘paw’dorable furry friend Bailey.

Trying hands at farming

Although we all knew that ‘health is the biggest wealth’, and amid the pandemic, we have realized that it is the only wealth that matters. The pandemic forced most of us to switch to a healthy lifestyle and Mohanlal too tried hands at organic farming. What’s better than having a countryside salad with freshly plucked vegetables from one’s own garden? As the star had enough time to plant and look after his organic farm, the actor indulged in farming. From okra to the cow beans, Mohanlal’s vegetable garden has everything a family of four needs!

Spreading awareness through social media

Social media is the biggest boon we received in the 21st century if used for good deeds. Mohanlal, who has millions of followers on social media, used the platform to share awareness messages to curb the spread of coronavirus. The actor associated with the Kerala government’s ‘break the chain’ campaign and shared useful messages and videos through his handle.

Soothing the body and soul

As some restrictions were lifted, the actor went for an ayurvedic treatment. The actor visited an Ayurveda treatment center in Pattambi, Palakkad, and took a rejuvenation therapy. Mohanlal had to begin the shoot of his next movie in a week and hence the actor decided to prepare his body and soul. From following a strict diet prescribed by the therapist to going along with the guidelines, the actor was relaxing and detoxing for a few days.

Back to work

After a break of six months, Mohanlal returned in front of the camera, all charged like a debutant. The actor joined the set of his forthcoming movie ‘Drishyam 2’ and the picture says everything. He is a dedicated actor and getting back to work after a break is definitely going to bring the best out of him. The movie is a sequel to the 2013 movie ‘Drishyam’, directed by Jeethu Joseph.
