Bollywood bids adieu to Ganpati Bappa

Shilpa Shetty- Like every year, Shilpa Shetty celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi in full spirits this year too. She celebrated the festival with her husband Raj Kundra and sister Shamita Shetty. During Ganesh visarjan, the actress did not hesitate from dancing to some of the most popular 'ganpati bappa' numbers in full public view. Husband Raj Kundra too joined Shilpa and showed everyone a few moves. Shilpa kept it simple yet elegant. She wore an orange coloured saree paired with pearl jewellery.

Kangana Ranaut- Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is riding high after the success of 'Queen' also celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi in Mumbai. Kangana was spotted seeking Ganesha's blessings at a pandal in Mumbai. Dressed in a dark blue coloured saree, Kangana looked splendid. She had paired her saree with gold jewellery. Kangana also posed happily for the shutterbugs during visarjan.

Amitabh, Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan- Shutterbugs went crazy when the Bachchans arrived to bid adieu to Lord Ganesha. Amitabh Bachchan accompanied by son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya celebrated the Ganesh festival in full spirit. They visited the Lalbaugcha Raja during the aarti. The Bachchan trio looked splendid in traditional attire."Ganapati at Lal Bagh .. Lal Bagh cha Raja !! Been going there since 1974 ..!" tweeted Amitabh Bachchan.

Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan- Rakesh and Hrithik were drenched in festive spirit. The Roshans organised a full fledged visarjan ceremony this year. Hrithik's children, Hrehaan and Hridaan were also present at the event. Hrithik's mother Pinky Roshan was spotted enjoying herself. Industry members too joined their celebrations.

Sonali Bendre- Sonali Bendre and her husband Goldy Behl also celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi in full festive flavour. Goldy Behl and Sonali organised a grand visarjan ceremony. Sonali Bendre opted for a blue coloured silk saree and looked marvellous while Goldy Behl opted for a plain yellow coloured kurta. The couple was accompanied by close friends from the industry and family members.

Vivek Oberoi- "Ganpati Bappa Moriya! May we all be blessed by the divine. Enjoy the modaks and puranpolis," tweeted Vivek Oberoi. The Oberois are known for their spectacular celebrations every year. And this year too, they celebrated the festival in full spirit. Vivek celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with wife Priyanka, father Suresh, his mother and sister.
