‘Baar Baar Dekho’ will bring together Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif on the big screen for the first time ever! This modern day love story by Nitya Mehra will chronicle the magical love story of Jay and Diya from teenage love, through marriage, heartbreak and everything else with it. Not 'time travel', but a new age love story

‘Baar Baar Dekho’ was originally believed to be a film based on ‘time travel’. However, director Nitya put those rumours to rest, saying that it is a simple ‘new age love story’. The film will follow Katrina and Sidharth’s characters’ journeys from teenagers to a 60-year old married couple going through a troubled phase in their relationship. However, their ‘happy ever after’ rests in the hands of Jay, who will beat all odds and win back the love of his life – Diya.

An emotional rollercoaster of songs

While the film does have an intriguing story line, it is actually its hit soundtracks that have stolen the show. Katrina and Sidharth had fans across the globe dancing to their tunes of ‘Kala chashma’, and the proof’s in the 74 million hits it has crossed on YouTube. Apart from that, it has also become one of the most covered tracks online (not forgetting those numerous parodies). Songs like ‘Nachde ne saare’ and ‘Sau aasmaan’ have also set the tune for the upcoming wedding season in the country.

Katrina Kaif’s smoking hot bod

If there was one thing that truly shined through in all the trailers, teasers, music videos and posters, it had to be Katrina Kaif’s drool-worthy body. The actress went all out to attain her chiselled physique. During the course of film promotions, the star revealed that she had to give up on a lot of ‘good things’ that included cutting down on water, salt, carbs apart from the long list of other things. The picturesque destinations

Apart from travelling through time with Sid and Katrina’s characters, moviegoers will also accompany the hot couple on their globetrotting adventures. The film has been shot in a handful of pristine new locations that include the beaches of Krabi island, the stonewalled by lanes of Scotland, and the old corridors and hallways of heritage institutes. Director Nitya made sure to tread new paths and discover new locations for the film.
