Life Time Achievement Award: It's always a moment to wait for when Filmfare announces its Life Time Achievement Award. This year it was presented to Kamini Kaushal for her extra-ordinary work in the Indian film industry. While receiving the award, she said, "Jaya Bachchan is very special and I am very thankful ki aap log aaye aur aapke samne mujhe yeh award diya jaa raha hai. 70 saal ki lambai bahut hoti hai."
She added, "I am missing my gang, most of them are gone. I feel lonely here today. All of them are disappearing and going one by one”.

70 years is a long time: Kamini Kaushal: "We did set a new trend and I must take credit for them. My gang brought little naturalness in our dialogue delivery, we changed that and it was our biggest contribution in cinema. It's been a very long journey, but a pleasant journey. My most cherished memory was a programme for kids where I built the puppets, made a story and spoke the voices for them. I had such a supporting family and TOI has a big hand in it. I used to write a column for kids; 14 pages every month. I wrote stories, poems and letters. I took those stories and made programme for kids and it's so glorious to see they have grown up and they come and tell me that we used to wait for your stories."
