Bollywood is mourning the demise of popular musician Wajid Khan of the Sajid-Wajid fame. The composer behind popular hits like ‘Hud Hud Dabangg’ and ‘Fevicol Se’ breathed his last at the age of 42 at a hospital in Mumbai. Wajid Khan shared a close bond with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Salman Khan and Wajid Khan’s relationship dates decades ago. As condolences poured in on social media, Salman Khan too penned an emotional note remembering his close aide. “Wajid Vil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace ..." Salman Khan had shared on Twitter.

Apparently, Wajid Khan had worked on Salman and Daisy starrer ‘Jai Ho’ in 2014. He had sung 'Baaki Sab First Class Hai' from the film and had also crooned the title track 'Jai Ho' with Armaan Malik.

Salman Khan and Sajid-Wajid’s camaraderie dates back to 1998 as the composers marked their debut with Bollywood with the actor. Sajid-Wajid worked on ‘Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’ which featured Salman Khan and Kajol in the lead. Wajid Khan’s last known work is also for Salman, as he collaborated with brother Sajid Khan for the composition of Salman Khan’s latest single ‘Bhai Bhai’.
