Sushant Singh Rajput shocked the nation with his untimely demise on June 14, 2020. The much loved actor’s death by suicide left his family, fans and all loved ones devastated. SSR’s demise brought the limelight back on the nepotism debate with Kangana Ranaut calling his death a planned murder. On the other hand, Shekhar Suman has been urging for a CBI investigation in his case – here’s taking a look at what Bollywood celebrities shared after the actor’s demise.

Kangana Ranaut’s fiery public service announcement

Kangana Ranaut had shared a fiery public service announcement on the official social media handle of her team, slamming Bollywood for not giving Sushant his dues. She had slammed derogatory reports about the actor stating that Sushant was a rank holder and questioned how he could have a “weak mind”. Also referring to Sushant's viral comment wherein he urged a fan to watch his movie as he “didn’t have a godfather”, Kangana had stated that despite his great lineup of films, Sushan tdidn’t receive any acknowledgement or awards. The ‘Manikarnika’ actress had also alleged, “Ye suicide nahi, planned murder tha!"

Shekhar Suman slammed Bollywood's silence

Shekhar Suman has been actively urging for a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. Recently he questioned Bollywood’s silence over the late actor’s death by suicide and had shared on Twitter, “ Film parivar ke log chup hai maun hain, Ye jo nishabd baithe hain ye sab kaun hain, Sirf isliye ki jo chala gaya wo aapka saga nahin tha, Aapka apna bhai ya beta nahin tha, Sushant ke liye aage badhein aawaz uthayein, Yun dar ke na baithein usey nyay dilayein (Members of the film fraternity are all quiet, silent. Who are these people who are sitting silently? Just because the one who departed was not one of your own, he was not your brother or son, Step up and raise your voice for Sushant. Don’t be scared, help him get justice) #justiceforSushantforum.”

Sapna Bhavnani: No one in the industry stood up for Sushant

Hair stylist Sapna Bhavnani had also strongly reacted to Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. In a furious social media post, Sapna had slammed Bollywood for not extending support to the late actor, despite knowing that Sushant was experiencing a tough time. “It’s no secret Sushant was going through very tough times for the last few years. No one in the industry stood up for him nor did they lend a helping hand. To tweet today is the biggest display of how shallow the industry really is. No one here is your friend. RIP” Sapna had posted on Twitter.

Nikhil Dwivedi slammed Bollywood's hypocrisy

Several Bollywood celebrities were expressing their anger against Bollywood and Nikhil Dwivedi also called out the industry’s hypocrisy after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. “At times our movie industry's hypocrisy gets to me. High &mighty announcing they shud ve kept in touch wth Sushant.. Cmon u didn't! &thts coz his career dipped. So STFU! R u in touch with Imran Khan, Abhay Deol &others? No! But u were, whn they were doing well #SushantSinghRajput,” Nikhil had shared on Twitter.

Neither his career has dipped nor he has shortage of work. He has movies lined up and he also has started shooting for it. One such film is Chanda Mama Dur ke so stop saying this. He was murdered and thats the reality, you all are covering this by saying that he was alone in his rough times.
