Bollywood lost a legend on Friday as Saroj Khan bid adieu to the world, leaving behind precious memories. The 71-year-old ace choreographer was earlier admitted to a hospital after she had complained of breathing issues. Saroj Khan was laid to rest in Malad, in the presence of her daughter and close family. Later in an Instagram post, they had shared, “Thank you for all your messages and for keeping Mummy in your prayers. Given the current COVID-19 situation, there will be no prayer meet. Whenever the situation improves, we will meet and celebrate the life of Saroj Khan.” Here's taking a look at adorable family moments shared by Saroj Khan.

Saroj Khan’s last birthday celebration

This cute memory belongs to Saroj Khan’s last birthday celebration. The popular choreographer was born in November 1948 and last year, as she turned a year older, Saroj Khan enjoyed the occasion with her family. Sharing a glimpse from her celebration with her granddaughter, Saroj Khan had posted on November 23, 2019, “A very well spent birthday with my little one! Thank you all for your wishes!! Loads of love, Saroj Khan.” The celebrated choreographer had once revealed in an interview that at the age of 14, she was in a relationship with 43 year old choreographer Sohan Lal. They had two children - Raju Khan, who is a choreographer and Cuckoo Khan. Saroj Khan had stated in the interview that since Sohan Lal was not ready to give his name to the kids, she married a Pathan and they had a daughter Sukaina Nagpal.

This priceless throwback was shared by Saroj Khan on her Instagram account. The celebrated choreographer, who had entered the industry at a young age, had gone for a world tour with Bollywood actress Rekha. This happy memory from 1999 captures a rare public appearance of Saroj Khan and her daughter Sukaina Nagpal. Saroj Khan has worked on several occasions with Rekha and here’s the veteran actress snapped giving a tight hug to Sukaina.
