'I was excited and am very happy for my sister'

Sharing exclusive pictures from the ceremony, Himansh tells us, “I was excited and am very happy for my sister. Honestly, I'm just reciprocating her emotions but feeling a tad bit of other emotions as a brother. We had the mehendi function on February 27 followed by the engagement the same evening. On Sunday, the wedding ceremony was conducted with only our close friends and family in attendance.

'We had planned fewer functions due to COVID'

Disha's wedding saw actor Tusshar Kapoor in attendance, among other celebs. Talking about the precautions that were followed at the wedding, Himansh shares, "We made sure that all COVID norms were followed. People wore masks, and there were sanitisers placed on all tables, food counters and gates."

'My heart felt at peace knowing that there's someone who loves her'

Khushali Kumar was also seen posing for pictures with Himansh at the wedding. As for the brother of the bride, sharing one of his favourite moments from the celebration, Himansh says, "Apart from all the other special moments, I remember when Abhay went down on his knees and poured his heart out while proposing to Disha. The words, his emotions, everything shook me. My heart felt at peace knowing that there's someone who loves her and will take care of her. "

'I feel happy, but I'll miss her a lot'

Singer-actor Shirley Setia, who was also present at the wedding, took to social media to post a picture with the happy couple. Himansh further shares, “As a brother, I feel happy that my sister is going to start a new phase in her life, but at the same time, I'll miss her a lot.
