From Tirupati to Golden Temple: Here's a timeline of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's first wedding anniversary celebrations

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who tied the knot at Lake Como in a glamorous Konkani wedding on November 14 which was followed by a big-fat Punjabi marriage on November 15 completed one year of marital bliss this year and they opted to celebrate this day spiritually by thanking the divine lord for all the love and blessings.

The couple kicked off for their celebrations a day prior as Deepika took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her husband Ranveer prepping for the big day by opting for some beauty treatments to look his best. "In preparation for his first wedding anniversary," Deepika captioned the click. Later on in the day, the couple was spotted at the airport heading to Tirupati to seek the blessings at Balaji and Padmavati Temple on November 14. Dressed in their casual best, Deepika opted for a turtle neck brown sweatshirt and denim, Ranveer, on the other hand, chose to wear a black tee which he teamed up with stylish sunnies.

Pictures and videos of the couple had gone viral on the internet within no time as they stepped out in dazzling in royal traditional outfits on their first anniversary as they visited Balaji and Padmavati Temple on November 14. While Deepika wore a red and golden saree gifted to her by her in-laws during the wedding, Ranveer opted for an embroidered golden sherwani paired with brown specs. Not only that but the couple were also joined in by their families on their first anniversary and several wishes also poured in for the adorable couple.

After seeking the blessings at the Venkateshwar temple, the couple took off for Amritsar the same evening and posed for pictures with little fans who requested them for pictures happily. After a few hours, the couple, who is popularly known as DeepVeer was spotted at the Amritsar airport, twinning in black attires while walking hand-in-hand with their families following them.

While the first leg of their first wedding anniversary turned out to be as planned, the couple started their second day early by visiting the Golden Temple in the wee hours of the morning. Deepika and Ranveer were accompanied by their families and they even posed for a beautiful family picture at the Golden Temple. But what grabbed everyone's attention was Deepika's Punjabi outfit which she had earlier worn during her 'chooda' ceremony.

Earlier in the afternoon today, Deepika and Ranveer returned to the bay after spiritually celebrating their first wedding anniversary. The couple completed their one year of togetherness on November 14 and raised the relationships bar to the next level by thanking the Lord for all the love and happiness. Their holy sojourn came to an end as they came back with their families dressed in their traditional best and posed delightfully for the shutterbugs present at the Mumbai airport. The couple even took to their respective social media handles to wish one another with adorable anniversary post.
