​Bollywood sequels long in the making​

Sequels and movie franchises are one of the surest way in today's economic scenario to mkae sure the audience comes to the movie halls. But it takes a lot of factors to get a film on floor and when it comes to sequels it involves many more factors than the first part. Some films are succesful is doing it some aren't. Let's take a look at some of the long awaited sequels.

This 2005 release starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in the lead was a laugh riot when it released, it was also one of the biggest hits of the year. But since then from makes to actors have spoken about sequel happening. In fact Salman also mentioned the script being complete recently but concrete has come out.

Kick was Sajid Nadiadwala's debut as a director and he was the first director to have a record of having over 200 crore Box Officce collection. From the time of it's release the talks about the sequel were doing the rounds, the producer-direcor recently in an interview mentioned that the sequel is in works but will take time.

This Karan Johar production was very well recieived by the audience , he along with the cast of film were very keen on the next installment but nothing happened. The makers then decided to reboot the film with Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor but that also fell through.

It will be nearly 10 years since the release of Krissh 3, but not much has moved on the sequel. The director Rakesh Roshan had promised that fouth part of the series will be happen when the film released, but the makers have not been able to cradk the right idea for it.
