Shanaya worked as an assistant on a Janhvi Kapoor film
Shanaya has completed her education at Ecole Mondiale in Mumbai. Before making her way into Bollywood, Shanaya worked as an assistant director on Janhvi Kapoor’s film ‘Gunjan Saxena’, to understand the nuances of filmmaking and how film sets function. While Shanaya was working on the project, proud father Sanjay Kapoor had shared a note on social media, gushing, “My Hard working daughter shooting in 41 degrees as an assistant director, warm welcome to the film industry”.

Shanaya made a glamorous appearance at the Bal des Débutantes
Back in 2019, Shanaya was invited to be a part of the glamorous le Bal des Débutantes, which marks the debut of young ladies from affluent families. She looked absolutely stunning in a ruffled red gown, and was accompanied by her parents. She made a glamorous entry at the prestigious event with her cavalier Maximilian Hindmarch.

BFFs with Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday
Shanaya is best friends with Shah Rukh-Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, and Bhavna-Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya Panday. Shanaya, Suhana, and Ananya are childhood friends and often party and vacation together. Shweta Bachchan’s daughter Navya Naveli Nanda is also a close friend of the trio.
