Aryan Khan gets a clean chit in drugs case: All the latest developments in the case

Dropping the drugs charges against Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), SN Pradhan said WhatsApp chats without physical evidence hold "no value". He said that a person can talk about anything on WhatsApp, but without physical existence, it's not complete evidence.

The press note released by the agency read, "All the accused persons were found in possession of Narcotics except Aryan (Khan) and Mohak (Jaiswal)."

NCB Statement in case

The NCB SIT officials stated that the team which arrested Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan did not follow mandatory rules like a medical test of the accused, video recordings of the raid and corroborate evidence of WhatsApp conversations.

NCB has not filed any complaint against Aryan Khan and five others in the alleged cruise drug bust case due to a lack of "sufficient" evidence.

"A complaint against 14 persons under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act is being filed. Complaint against rest six persons is not being filed due to the lack of evidence," the Deputy Director-General (DDG) of NCB said.

Action against Sameer Wankhede

According to the reports, Government has asked the Competent Authority to take appropriate action against former NCB official Sameer Wankhede, for his shoddy investigation into the Aryan Khan drugs haul case. The Government is already taking action in the case of Sameer Wankhede's fake caste certificate case.

Aryan gets support from Bollywood

After Aryan was given a clean chit in the drug case, Pooja Bhatt and Ram Gopal Varma came out in support of the star kid.

Pooja tweeted, "Sameer who? Er sorry, where? Ah! Probably very busy being a righteous, publicity shy officer elsewhere? So much of a mess to clean up after all. And who better than the least corrupt of them all to cure society of all evil & rot. Except this time, no selfies allowed. #truthprevails."

Meanwhile, RGV told a website that the case exposed the 'inefficiency' and 'recklessness' of different agencies which harass innocent people.

Aryan free to travel abroad, to start scripting for a new show

After Aryan was given a clean chit by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drugs case, speculations of him jetting off to the US have been doing rounds on the internet. If the rumours are to be believed, Aryan will be writing a script for a new show.

SRK's son will be soon getting back his passport which was confiscated by the agency to prevent him from flying abroad.
