However, what caught everyone's attention more than the glimpse was Uday Chopra's name in the credits. It sparked a discussion online, with netizens expressing shock, scepticism, and curiosity across social media.

The 'Alpha' teaser offered audiences a glimpse into a high-octane spy world, with Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol featuring in intense action sequences. However, the story credit attributed to Uday Chopra, spotted in the teaser's description, quickly became the talking point, overshadowing the film's promotional launch.



Social media was quick to respond after learning this. Many users expressed genuine shock at seeing his name attached to one of Yash Raj Films' biggest upcoming releases.

One puzzled user asked, "Story by Uday Chopra????" while another added, "Story by - Uday Chopra (first time writer). damn, this movie looks like a disaster to me.."

A section of fans viewed the development more positively, speculating whether the credit signals a quiet creative return for the actor.
