Bhojpuri star Monalisa bewitches in black in her latest photoshoot

Bhojpuri actress Antara Biswas was back to grabbing headlines on Monday morning by sharing some rather enticing photos on her social media handle.

Rocking a black skirt and spaghetti top, the actress worked the all-black ensemble to her advantage. She looks gorgeous in minimal makeup and wine colour lips.

"I Love It, When I Catch You Looking At Me...." she captioned the post.

Antara, who has worked in many hit Bhojpuri films is currently busy shooting for a supernatural television show that is based on an evil witch - played by Monalisa, who creates problems for the family.

'Bigg Boss' fame and Bhojpuri actress Monalisa’s most sizzling pictures

Antara Biswas, better known by her stage name Monalisa is the most prevalent performer in Bhojpuri film industry. She started her acting career in 1997 with the movie ‘Jayate’ but got into fame after Bhojpuri movie ‘Bhole Shankar’ in 2008.

Monalisa has worked with practically every Bhojpuri biggie like Pawan Singh, Dinesh Lal Yadav and others. She has also done movies in several languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali and Oriya. Antara was a contestant of the most controversial Indian reality shows 'Bigg Boss 10' in 2016.

Relaxing by the poolside

Monalisa, who loves to dance, believes that the best way to relax after a night of dancing and partying is by jumping into the pool. She is a very good dancer since childhood and because of her dedication, she has made it big in the industry. Now, Antara has been recognized as the best dancer and has done lots of item number in Bhojpuri cinema.

Antara rocked the model look in the movie ‘Gharwali Baharwali’ while doing a ramp walk. She has done over 125 Bhojpuri films and is known as one of the highest paid actresses in Bhojpuri industry. At the beginning of her career, she has worked as a small-time television actress and model in Oriya music videos as well.

Bhojpuri actress Monalisa loves to pose in front of the camera. She was born to a Bengali Hindu family and adopted the stage name of Monalisa at the behest of her uncle. She acted in several low budget films before making her debut in Bollywood with ‘Blackmail’, starring Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty.

After getting some free time from her busy schedule, Antara, enjoyed a holiday with her husband. In 2016, she got married in the 'Bigg Boss' house with her longtime boyfriend Vikrant Singh Rajput. Vikrant is also a Bhojpuri actor and they met on the sets of one of their Bhojpuri film.

It has been said that Monalisa doesn’t just dance, she releases her feelings while dancing. Monalisa can be credited for the rise of the Bhojpuri industry in recent years. Her strong on-screen presence is highly appreciated by the audience and has won millions of hearts. She had appeared in popular comedy show ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ and was a contestant of dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye’ in 2017.
