Albert Francis Xavier (Tamizhaga Vaazhvurimai Katchi), A. Sudhakar (Republican Party of India (Athawale)), M. Nedunchezlian (Periyar Ambedkar Munnetra Kazhagam (PAMK)), Mani. K (All India Youth Development Party), E. Muralidharan (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), K. Annadurai (Independent), Anitha Mayaperumal (Independent), D. Govindarajan (Independent), E.C. Govindaraje (Independent), S. Sasikumar (Independent), and Mathesh. R (Independent) — 15 candidates contesting from Bargur in Tamil Nadu's 2026 Assembly Election. In 2021, Mathiazhagan D of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won by a margin of 12,614 votes. The 2016 winner was V.
