Archana Narasimman (Naam Tamilar Katchi), J.L.Eswarappan (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), S.M.Sukumar (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), M.Vasanthakumar (Bahujan Samaj Party), V.Gandhi (Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi), S.P.Shanmugam (Aanaithinthiya Jananayaka Pathukappu Kazhagam), V.Seetharaman (Anti Corruption Dynamic Party), G.Vijay Mohan (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), P.Venkatesan (Tamizhaga Vaazhvurimai Katchi), R.Indhumathi (Independent), Eswarappan.M (Independent), V.Shanthi (Independent), K.Manikandan (Independent), and A.Vijay (Independent) — 14 candidates contesting from Arcot in Tamil Nadu's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Arcot is a General constituency. In 2021, J.L.Eswarappan of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won by a margin of 19,958 votes. The 2016 winner was J. L.
