Celebrating the festival of Eid al-Fitr

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, to mark the end of the holy month of Ramzan, many muslim worshippers attended Eid prayers at mosques in Thane, early morning on Friday (May 14). Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated every year in the month of April/May by the Hindus and Jains as an annual spring festival in India and Nepal. Here are pictures showing Eid prayers and Akshaya Tritiya celebrations, following COVID protocols as Maharashtra government has extended the lockdown-like restrictions in the state till June 1 to break the chain of Covid-19.
