KSRTC bus accident in Aluva claims life of 21-year-old scooter rider
Kochi: A 21-year-old scooter rider was killed after a KSRTC bus knocked him down near Aluva around 12.30pm on Wednesday.
Police said the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when the crash occurred. The victim fell on the road.
He was first rushed to District Hospital in Aluva and later shifted to a private hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries around 9.05pm on Wednesday. An FIR was registered in connection with the incident on Thursday. The body was handed over to the kin after an autopsy.
