1,172 Agniveervayus graduate at Belagavi ATS Parade, Sarang dazzles crowdBelagavi: The Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 7th batch of Agniveervayu trainees (AGVT) was held on Saturday at the Airmen Training School (ATS) in Belagavi. A total of 1,172 Agniveervayus (men and women) completed their 22 weeks of rigorous and transformative ab-initio training.Air Vice Marshal Mukesh Kumar Yadav, Command Flying Training Officer, Headquarters Training Command, Indian Air Force, presided over the event as the Reviewing Officer (RO). He lauded the precision, discipline, and commitment displayed by the trainees during the parade. The RO felicitated meritorious trainees for outstanding performance in various categories. Agv Pooja was adjudged ‘Best in Academics’, Agv Manoj Dutta won ‘Best in General Service Training’, Agv Janagama Shruti was named ‘Best Marksman’, while Agv Pooja was also awarded the ‘Best All Rounder’ trophy. The RO urged trainees to remain vigilant, adaptable, and committed, while recognising the constantly evolving global security environment. He encouraged them to stay prepared for all assigned duties with dedication and to continuously upgrade their professional skills.A coordinated drill display by the graduating trainees, along with performances by the Army Band and Air Warrior Drill Team, added grandeur to the occasion. The event culminated in an aerial display by the Sarang Helicopter Display Team, providing a spectacular finale to the ceremony.The occasion was special for families of the Agniveervayus, who were present to witness the impressive display of discipline and skill. The RO acknowledged their crucial role in shaping future air warriors. He concluded by commending the Air Officer Commanding and ATS personnel for their sustained efforts in training and transforming youth into capable and resilient Agniveervayus, ready to serve the nation.
