CCTV shows SUV ploughing into Haryana office; 3 injured
GURGAON: A man allegedly rammed his SUV into a property office in Palwal at 10.30 pm on Friday last week, injuring three people.According to a complaint filed by Rohit, one of the injured, the incident occurred near an Eicher agency in Kushlipur. Rohit was inside the office with his associate Hitesh and two others when the accused, Narendra Kundu, a resident of Devnagar, allegedly drove his vehicle at high speed straight into the office.Rohit suffered a fracture in his right leg, while Hitesh sustained injuries to his waist and shoulder, and the others also received injuries. The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage.Police said a medico-legal report, conducted on May 23, confirmed multiple injuries caused by blunt force, and doctors advised further examination, including X-ray and orthopaedic opinion.Initially, when police reached the spot, the office was found locked, and no eyewitnesses were present. Rohit later informed cops that he was undergoing treatment and would assist in the investigation after being discharged from the hospital. A daily diary entry regarding the incident was subsequently recorded on May 26.Police said that on May 27, Rohit, along with the other injured, accompanied cops to the spot for inspection.
CCTV footage from the office revealed that Kundu first came to the office, had a brief chat with Rohit and Hitesh, and left the spot.Minutes later, he returned and allegedly drove the SUV into the office, suggesting that the act was deliberate.An FIR was registered against Narendra Kundu under sections 109(1) and 324(2) of the BNS at Camp police station, Palwal. The investigation is currently underway, and officials said further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
