Committee constituted to audit NEET-UG 2026 exam centres

Margao: With the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21, the South Goa district administration has constituted a four-member committee to conduct a physical audit of all examination centres in the district, as mandated by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
District Magistrate Srinet Kothwale issued an order on Friday, nominating Deputy Collector and District Revenue Officer Avelina D’sa E Pereira to lead the audit on behalf of the district magistrate. She is joined by Deputy Superintendent of Police (South, Headquarters) Sidhant Shirodkar, representing the Superintendent of Police (South); Narendra Singh Rathore, Principal of KV No 2, Vasco, serving as district nodal officer; and Gervasio Mendes, Additional Director of Higher Education and District Educational Officer.
The committee has been directed to visit all designated examination centres together as per the list of centres provided by the NTA. Upon completing the audit, the District Level Coordination Committee must submit feedback through an NTA-provided checklist link and upload a certificate of compliance to the online audit form.
The re-examination on June 21, from 2 pm to 5.15 pm (IST), was announced by the NTA after the original NEET UG exam held on May 3 was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak.
