New Delhi: A man was allegedly stabbed critically by a group of six to seven assailants in northwest Delhi’s Ashok Vihar.
According to police, the attack, which took place early Sunday, was triggered by the accused’s anger after discovering that the man, identified as
Vineet, had allegedly been pranking and abusing them through a fake social media profile posing as a girl.
Vineet remains in critical condition at LNJP Hospital. A case of attempted murder has been registered.
Two men were murdered and another was critically injured in three separate stabbing incidents in northwest Delhi within a span of 24 hours. Police are yet to arrest the accused in two of the cases.
