Two Nepal nationals die in road accident near Dharmapuri
DHARMAPURI: Two Nepal nationals died after a pickup van hit the two-wheeler they were riding on near Indur in Dharmapuri district on Tuesday night.The deceased have been identified as M Harish, 45, a Gurkha security worker who lived with his family in Indur, and his relative, V Dhanraj, 42, who recently arrived from Bengaluru to visit him. The accident happened when they were returning to Indur from Dharmapuri. “Harish died on the spot, while Dhanraj sustained severe injuries. Dhanraj was rushed to Dharmapuri Government Medical College and Hospital. But he died before reaching the hospital,” said a police officer. Police registered a case and launched a search for the pickup van driver, who fled the scene after the accident.
