COIMBATORE: The
Tamil Nadu govt has appointed Katta Ravi Teja as the commissioner of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation. Ravi Teja succeeds M Sivaguru Prabakaran, who has been promoted and appointed as the district collector of Ramanathapuram.
Ravi Teja, a 2020 batch IAS officer belonging to the Tamil Nadu cadre, has been serving as the regional deputy commissioner (North) for the Greater Chennai Corporation.
Earlier, he had served as the sub-collector of Tindivanam in Villupuram district and as an assistant secretary in the Union ministry of agriculture and farmers welfare.
