City teen tops Sastra university’s admissions list
Chennai: R Abhinav from Chennai has secured the first rank among 37,000 applicants in Sastra deemed university’s engineering admission’s rank list that was released on Friday.
Sastra has provided 20% of seats for students from Trichy and Thanjavur besides special provisions for students from north eastern states, Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep. The university also provides special scholarships for children of martyred or serving personnel of the Indian Armed forces.
“All counselling and admission related updates are available at www.sastra.edu with classes for the 2026-2027 batch beginning on Aug 3,” said Sastra vice-chancellor S Vaidhyasubramaniam.
