RDSO tests assess metro trains and infrastructure for safety, performance, and operational standards before allowing public operations across India.

Pink Line Corridor Overview

The 21km Namma Metro Pink Line includes a 13km underground section between Dairy Circle and Nagawara for efficient city connectivity.

Elevated Stretch Targeted for Mid-2026

The elevated section from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere is expected to open by mid-2026, ahead of the full corridor’s completion.

Full Corridor Completion by December 2026

While parts of the Pink Line will start operating mid-year, the entire 21km stretch is slated for public use by December 2026.

Trainsets Delivered and Initial Operations

Four trainsets have been delivered by BEML, with 4-5 trainsets expected to operate initially on the elevated section of the Pink Line.
