11 most badass dialogues from 'Breaking Bad'

"You're an insane, degenerate piece of filth, and you deserve to die"

Season 2, Episode 2 - Remember when Walt was a better human being than his meth buddies? We couldn't help but cheer for him when he put Tuco in his place - "We tried to poison you. We tried to poison you because you're an insane, degenerate piece of filth, and you deserve to die." This dialogue was made to throw Tuco off his game, and yes it worked, giving Jesse enough time to hit him in the head.

"Stay out of my territory"

Season 2, Episode 10 - This is just like a precursor to Walt's 'Say my name' speech in Season 5. With his badass attitude, Walt successfully gets two tough-looking meth wannabes to leave his territory after he catches one of them buying supplies for a cook.

"May his death satisfy you"

Season 3, Episode 6 - With these words, Gus (a high level drug distributor who has a cover as an owner of a fast food chain Los Pollos Hermanos) sets in motion the assassination attempt of Hank (Marie's husband, Walter and Skyler's brother-in-law and a DEA agent). The move marks the beginning of the end for killer twins.

"You're my free pass..bitch"

Season 3, Episode 7 - Jesse rarely got the best of Walt, but after being beaten by Hank, he gets out of jail. More importantly, he's got another one up his sleeve - Heisenberg. Jesse threatens Walt that if he's ever taken into custody, he'll give Walt up.

11 most badass dialogues from 'Breaking Bad'

"No more half-measures"

Season 3, Episode 12 - In Mike's best monologue of the show, he explains to Walt that why he needs to address Jesse's plan to kill 2 drug dealers against Gus' wishes. He says, "I chose a half-measure when I should have gone all the way. I'll never make that mistake again. No more half-measures, Walter."

11 most badass dialogues from 'Breaking Bad'

"I am the one who knocks"

Season 4, Episode 6 - This one is the most famous Walter White's quotes in the show. Breaking Bad writer Gennifer Hutchison, who wrote the episode, told THR she didn't realize the monologue would become iconic. "It was always a cool scene. I didn’t realize how big it would become." Here's the quote in full: "You clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger. A guy opens his door and gets shot, and you think that of me? No! I am the one who knocks!"

11 most badass dialogues from 'Breaking Bad'

"Because I say so"

Season 5, Episode 1 - After killing Gus Fring and pulling off the brilliant magnet attack on police, Mike asks Walt how he can be so sure that the plan worked? "Because I say so," was Heisenberg's answer. Breaking Bad writer George Mastras told that this line showed Walt's 'arrogance' at the start of the season.

11 most badass dialogues from 'Breaking Bad'

"Say my name"

Season 5, Episode 7 - Heisenberg doesn't get any cooler than this. This is surely our favorite Walt monologue ever. He had the audacity to ask hardened criminals to work with him and even paid Mike a fee of $5 million for bringing them together. Why? Because he's the cook, because he's the man who killed Gus and because he's Heisenberg. You are goddamn right.
10/12

11 most badass dialogues from 'Breaking Bad'

"Tread Lightly"

Season 5, Episode 9 - "If that's true, if you don't know who I am, then maybe your best course is to tread lightly." The internet exploded when Walt said this now-famous line.

11 most badass dialogues from 'Breaking Bad'

"I'm not in the meth business; I'm in the empire business"

Season 5, Episode 6 - The fact that he sold his shares of Grey enterprises which could be worth millions, never left him. A sum like $5 million seemed like peanuts to White.
12/12

11 most badass dialogues from 'Breaking Bad'

"I'm not in danger Skyler..I'm the danger"

Season 4, Episode 6 - Possibly the one quote that allows the viewers to see how much of a badass Walter White really is - not that we didn't know that already. Walt left a voicemail for Skyler declaring his love for her and the kids in the fear that he may be about to die. Following the death of Gale and the link between the shooting and the crystal meth operation, she hints and calling the police, at which point Walt goes absolutely aggressive on his wife and lets her know who's in charge.
