The Flames secured their season-high fourth consecutive win with this triumph. Nazem Kadri contributed one goal and one assist, while Blake Coleman added another goal for Calgary. The Flames showcased resilience by erasing a two-goal deficit in the third period, ultimately clinching their eighth consecutive home win over the Coyotes.

Calgary's goaltender Dan Vladar, filling in for the injured Jacob Markstrom, made 23 saves to help secure the victory. The game-winning goal came during a four-on-three power play in overtime, with Sharangovich unleashing a top-corner shot from the right faceoff dot.

Sean Durzi and Logan Cooley scored for the Coyotes, who held a 2-0 lead in the third period. However, Coleman's goal at 8:54 injected life into the Flames, and Kadri tied the game just over a minute later. The Flames have now collected seven victories when trailing after two periods, highlighting their ability to mount comebacks.

Calgary boasts an impressive 13-2-1 record in their past 16 matchups against the Coyotes. The loss added to the Coyotes' recent struggles, as they have only secured two wins in their last seven games. The disappointment for the Coyotes was compounded by forward Nick Schmaltz leaving the game late in the second period.
