Russian authorities detained over 100 individuals at impromptu memorials for deceased opposition leader Alexei Navalny, said the OVD-Info rights group.

As of February 17, "more than 101 people have already been detained in 10 cities," including 11 in the capital Moscow, while many others were detained in cities like Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, and Tver. (Photo: AFP)
