What's new that's brewing in Koffee With Karan Season 5?

Koffee with Karan, hosted by Karan Johar, has been entertaining the viewers since its launch in 2004. And owing to what it manages to churn out every year - juicy gossips, candid confessions, controversial spats etc -it qualifies as the most entertaining chat show ever. The fifth season is all set to premiere this Sunday (6th November) on Star World and we can't wait to see all that Karan and his first guests, Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan, have to offer. We list down all that is new and revamped in this season of Koffee With Karan:

Karan unplugged, and this time like never before: The season hasn't begun yet, and the 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' director is already making some hilarious and controversial confessions. One such includes his revelation about getting a botox done. He said, "It’s me, my face, I am botoxed, I put collagen up there, I have adjusted my nose, I have done what everyone does in my industry." Doesn't that leave you speechless? Considering he is quite open to talking about himself, he gets it out from most of his industry friends, too.

New additions to the rapid fire round and the hamper: Exciting, isn't it?! There will be some more fun and additional twists to the rapid fire round. In terms of celebrities making headlines, this segment is a winner. It will have more challenges, new faces, newer questions and much more drama.

Fresh pairing/combinations: Since it's pretty much the same people, the show will witness exciting combinations, different from what you would normally expect. So this time around news is that besides Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan, the season will see Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonam and Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan etc. In all likelihood, the fresh pairing is sure to spice up things on the show.

Revamped set: This time around, the set has a more sophisticated and elegant look. It is stripes, black and white, just like a Zebra is, but you can't cross over at all. The fact that Karan's show is all about posh and class, the swanky sets only add to the charm.
