Midhun Manuel Thomas' Anali to Meena's 'Secret Stories - Roslin': An exciting list of web series awaits the Malayalam audience

The OTT sphere of the Malayalam entertainment industry had its biggest boom in the year 2025. From popular OTT platforms having their first Malayalam originals to popular series coming back with their sequels, the year was exceptional for the industry. Expected to be the first ever long series format in Malayalam, Cousins and Kalyanams will be a blend of humour, romance and generational conflicts.

The Midhun Manual directorial, Anali, is one of the most anticipated releases next year. Inspired by the infamous Jolly Cynaid case that shook Kerala, the series is expected to be a thrilling treat for fans. The show will have actors Leona Lishoy, Nikhila Vimal and others in the leads.

Yet another mystery thriller in the list is Secret Stories: Roslin. This anthology entry focuses on Roslin, a woman with a mysterious past. Blending psychological drama with emotional suspense, the series unravels the secrets that have shaped her life and the people around her, with Meena delivering a commanding lead performance. Along with Meena, the series will have actors Vineeth and Hakkim Sha.

Exciting news! The Rahman - Neena Gupta starrer, medical drama, 1000 Babies, will also have its sequel in the coming year.

Along with new series, the much-awaited third season of police procedural drama, Kerala Crime Files, will also reach OTT in 2026. The hit director-writer duo - Ahammed Khabeer and Bahul Ramesh will be the men behind this season too.
