Yumi’s cells

Touted to be the most-anticipated drama of the month, tvN’s ‘Yumi’s Cells’ marks the comeback of ‘Goblin’ fame Kim Go Eun alongside Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Jin Young. Helmed by director Lee Sang Yeob, it’s based on a hit webtoon by the same name. Kim Go Eun as YuMi, will be seen as an ordinary single working woman, who can express her emotions through her various cells. Touted to be a one-of-a-kind entertainer with a mix of live-action scenes and 3D animations, this drama will air on September 17.

Dali And The Cocky Prince

Park Gyu Young and Kim Min Jae starrer ‘Dali And The Cocky Price’ is a fresh new romance drama wherein the two leads cross each other’s paths and fall in love. Kim as Jin Moo Hak will be essaying a cocky prince, the second son of an influential family who runs an international restaurant franchise. Park Gyu Young will play an art gallery researcher with knowledge of multiple languages. This drama is set to premiere on September 22.

One The Woman

The ‘Extreme Job’ star Lee Ha Nee is all set to experiment with her comedy skills in ‘One The Woman’. After creating a buzz with her first look from the drama, the actress will be seen as Jo Yeon Joo, a corrupt prosecutor who ends up losing her memory to aid a new case. It will also star actors Lee Won Keun, Jin Seo Yeon and Lee Sang Yoon in pivotal roles. ‘One The Woman’ is scheduled for release on September 17.

The Veil

Marking the autumn comeback of Min Namkoong, ‘The Veil’ features the star as an elite agent from the Nation Intelligence Service who goes missing for a year. The series traces his comeback wherein he teaches his traitors a lesson. Packed with action, it will also star Kim Ji Eun, Park Ha Sun and Gim Jong Tae. It airs on September 17.

Hometown

After ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’, here’s Han Ye Ri and Uhm Tae Goo and Yoo Jae Myung’s ‘Hometown’, which will transport you to the 90s. The thriller mystery focuses on the story of Yoo who takes on an investigation of a case that might have a connection to a terrorist attack that happened a decade ago. Adding a twist, Yoo connects himself to the case, even more, when he realizes it is the same incident where he lost his wife. ‘Hometown’ will be aired from September 22.

Lost

Slightly different from the usual K-dramas, JTBC’s ‘Lost’ featuring Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol is about two strangers who are connected by the same feeling of hopelessness. Directed by Jin Ho, it aired on JTBC’s 10th-anniversary on September 4.

After ‘Mine’ and ‘The Penthouse’, here's yet another women-centric drama titled ‘High Class’! It features ‘Parasite’ actress Cho Yeo Jeong as a former lawyer who gets framed for her husband’s murder and she must do everything to clear her name. The tvN’s drama just premiered on September 6.
