Baifern Pimchanok and Win Metawin star in Thai adaptation of 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty' - check out the trailer and poster!

My ID is Gangnam Beauty won a lot of praise and attention upon its release in 2018. The drama starred g Im Soo-hyang, Cha Eun-woo, Jo Woo-ri and Kwak Dong-yeon
It's about a girl who changes her appearance to fit in with society's idea of beauty. The show talks about the pressure people feel to look a certain way.

The Korean version is now getting a Thai remake and it was officially announced in November 2022. The Thai version, called Beauty Newbie, stars Baifern Pimchanok and Win Metawin. The trailer shows Baifern's character wanting to be pretty and trying her best to fit in at school. She makes friends but then someone from her past shows up, revealing her secret. The official poster looks very pretty, with Baifern and Win looking attractive.

In the Thai version, Baifern plays the character Kang Mi Rae, originally played by Im Soo Hyang. Win plays Do Kyung Seok, originally played by Cha Eun Woo. The show also stars Jane as Fay and Great as Sense. They filmed the show from August 18, 2023, to January 29, 2024. Spread across 14 episodes, Beauty Newbie will start airing from February 19.
