The trailer of Govinda Naam Mera directed by Shashank Khaitan was recently released. The movie, starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on December 16.
The fun flick, produced by Karan Johar is the story of a common man named Govinda who is going through some tough times as a junior background dancer. He seems to be in a lot of debt and his wife is having an affair. To make matters worse, there seems to be a murder that has taken place that has further landed him in a soup.
The trailer has opened to mixed reactions from Twitterati. Most fans loved the fresh pairing of Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani in the trailer and said that they were looking forward to seeing both of them. On the other hand, a certain section of the fans did not find the trailer appealing at all. One fan wrote, "#GovindaNaamMeraTrailer ..what a horrible trailer ..thank GOD it is releasing on OTT otherwise it would have been a disaster..@vickykaushal09 bro..you are much better than such movies.."
