Jaipur: Lawyers sit on dharna to demand Protection Act from government

Lawyers of Jaipur’s Bar Association and District Advocates Bar Association launched an indefinite dharna. They were demanding that the government bring in a Lawyers’ Protection Act.There had been several incidents of lawyers being beaten up. The lawyers demanded the new law be brought up in the upcoming monsoon session of the Assembly.
