Ukraine Crisis: US expels 12 Russian UN diplomats, cites 'espionage activities'
US has expelled 12 members of Russia's diplomatic mission to the UN over the charges of 'espionage activities'. Russia's Permanent Representative to UN Vassily Nebenzia informed about the development. At the UN, the US mission described the Russian diplomats as 'intelligence operatives' who had been 'engaging in espionage activities that are adverse to our national security.' The US mission spokesperson Olivia Dalton said, 'This action has been in development for several months.'
