August 28 marked the eighth and final Monday of the revered 'Sawan' month. At Haridwar's Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple, devotees congregated, offering prayers and engaging in rituals. 'Sawan,' dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a significant Hindu calendar month, observed with fasting and worship. Commencing on July 4, this year's 'Sawan' extends till August 31.
