Legal minds from all parties must evaluate provisions of new bills very, very carefully: Manish Tewari

Reacting to the three new bills that have been introduced in Parliament for replacing the IPC, Criminal Procedure Code and the Indian Evidence Act, Congress MP Manish Tewari said that apart from the standing committee, both Houses must form a joint committee comprising legal luminaries from all parties to study the provisions of the new bills very minutely. Tewari said that outside the parliamentary process, civil society must also study the provisions of the bills.
