BJP MP Om Birla chosen as Speaker of 17th Lok Sabha

BJP MP from Rajasthan’s Kota Om Birla was chosen as the Speaker of the 17th Lok Sabha today. Om Birla’s name was proposed as Speaker by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. His nomination also had the backing of YSRCP and the BJD.
