Director and actor Seth MacFarlane revealed why he turned to AI for the Ted films, specifically to perfect his iconic Bill Clinton impression. Speaking about the production, MacFarlane explained that traditional prosthetics and CGI “all looked terrifying,” prompting the team to experiment with AI technology. Filming the CGI sequences took over a year, and AI became a tool to enhance the visuals without disrupting industry standards. “It worked, it was the only way I looked like Bill Clinton,” MacFarlane said, emphasizing that AI was used creatively, not as a replacement, to achieve the desired effect.
