Iran Fires Back At Air Base Used In US Operation Against Tehran Target
Tensions in the Gulf have flared again after Iran's IRGC claimed it struck a US-linked airbase in retaliation for an alleged American attack on a communications tower on Sirik Island. Tehran says the operation successfully hit all designated targets and warned of a much stronger response to any future aggression. The claim comes after US Central Command announced strikes on Iranian radar and drone facilities in Qeshm Island and Goruk. Meanwhile, Kuwait activated its air defences to intercept incoming missiles and drones, raising fresh concerns about the stability of the US-Iran ceasefire. The latest developments have intensified fears of a broader regional escalation.
