'ATTACK UNDER DARKNESS': Deadly Gunfight Erupts In Iran; Multiple Killed In Border Clash

Iranian authorities on Sunday said security forces have foiled an alleged terrorist attack on a border guard unit in Chaldoran County, resulting in the deaths of two suspected "terrorists". According to the Iranian media, a group of armed attackers targeted border guards during the night, triggering a firefight with security personnel. Officials claim the border guards responded swiftly and successfully repelled the assault before it could cause further damage. The incident comes amid heightened security concerns in Iran following months of political unrest and war with the United States and Israel.
