AR Rahman opens up a new debate about Bollywood music

Music maestro AR Rahman has recently raised a serious issue about Bollywood music in recent time. He voiced his concerns about how original music is taking a backseat in today's Indian film industry. He went on to say that the last time he felt good about a soundtrack was when he was working on 'Rockstar'. While admitting that musicians are often under pressure to deliver a soundtrack, he also emphasised that soulful music can be created only when composer, director work in tandem.
