Ameesha Patel gets trolled for 'defending' 'Gadar 2' co-star Simrat Kaur after her intimate scenes from Telugu movie go viral: 'You are jealous of her'

Ameesha Patel recently got trolled online for defending her 'Gadar 2' co-star Simrat Kaur for doing intimate scenes in some previous films. Ameesha had responded to a troll who had questioned Simrat Kaur's casting in 'Gadar 2' by posting some screengrabs and a clip of intimate scenes from her Telugu films including 'Dirty Hari' and a Hindi movie 'Soni'. Ameesha wrote, 'Spent the entire evening today defending the negativity surrounding Simrat Kaur who is paired opposite Utkarsh Sharma in GADAR 2!! Being a girl I request all to only spread positivity and not shame a girl! Let's encourage new talent!!' Fans applauded her gesture, but there were many who thought otherwise and called it Ameesha's 'negative stunt', 'propaganda' and 'jealousy'. 'Gadar 2', which will hit theaters on AUgust 11, stars Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur as the new onscreen pair alongwith Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol.
