The Event Management Association of Kerala (EMAK) organised an 8 k running event in Kochi today which saw the participation of sports enthusiasts from across the State. The run, which was flagged off from Durbar Hall Ground in Kochi, was organised to show the courage, solidarity and unity of the State, during the recent floods. On the occasion, the brave fishermen who came forward to help out the flood-struck were felicitated as well. The event was followed by a band performance by singer Sam Shiva and his band.
