UP polls: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav to contest from Mainpuri's Karhal constituency

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will contest the upcoming UP assembly polls from Mainpuri's Karhal constituency. The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister in a press conference yesterday had announced that he will contest the polls only after taking permission from the people of Azamgarh. The Uttar Pradesh elections will be held in seven phases starting from February 10 and the results will be announced on March 10.
