Senior Kerala politician PC George, in a distasteful comment, said that the actress, who was allegedly abducted & sexually assaulted in 2017, benefitted by getting more opportunities in movies. The former MLA said, “The loss that she had suffered in life as a woman might be huge if the said incident was true. But, my belief is that she got benefits in other areas”.
