It is that time of the year again, when all of Indore will hit the open grounds and terraces on Monday to fly their kites high in the sky. ‘Kanni De’, ‘Pench Lada’, ‘Dheel De’ will be heard in every corner, as the Indori patangbaaz engage in friendly competitions across localities. Before the excitement sets in, the kite markets of the city have already set the mood, with the myriad of kites available for the taking. This year it's the Loksabha election that has captured the fancy of the kite makers as well as buyers.
