Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu judge Koti pays tribute to late legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry; gets emotional

Popular singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu is going to pay tribute to the late legendary lyricist 'Sirivennela' Seetarama Sastry in the upcoming episodes.
The latest teaser of the episode that surfaced online shows contestant Abhinav performing on Seetarama Sastry's last song 'Sirivennela' from Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer Shyam Singha Roy. The song was composed by Mickey J Meyer and the lyrics were penned by Seetarama Sastry.The teaser video has Seetarama Sastry's son Raja expressing his excitement over Abhinav's performance. In the video, eminent music composer and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu judge Koti gets emotional while paying his tribute to the celebrated lyricist, who has penned lyrics for many of his compositions as well.

'Sirivennela' Sitarama Sastry (66), one of the most celebrated Telugu poets, lyricists and thinkers, passed away on November 30, 2021, due to pneumonia. His demise has left the Telugu entertainment industry and literature fraternity in deep shock. Megastar Chiranjeevi, BB Telugu host Nagarjuna, Jr NTR, and the who's who of the Telugu film and TV fraternities have mourned his loss.
Now, after four months of his demise, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu 14 is set to pay homage to one of the most influential Telugu lyricists and poets.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Telugu 14 is hosted by Sreemukhi and judged by Koti, SP Shailaja, Anantha Sriram, and Smitha. The show has four mentors Geetha Madhuri, Saketh, Arun, and Revanth. The previous season of the TV series has crowned Yasaswi Kondepudi as the winner.
